Frequently Asked Questions

Is Eagle Creek Financial Advisors right for me?

If you're looking for someone to simply manage investments, we may not be the best fit.
If you're looking for a trusted advisor who helps you make informed decisions about retirement, taxes, estate planning, investments, charitable giving, family wealth, and life's transitions, we'd welcome the opportunity to talk.

Is it the two of you?

Yes. Every client works directly with Jeannie and Crystal. Many of our clients appreciate having direct access to an experienced advisor who knows their family, understands the full picture and coordinates the details that matter.
Behind the scenes, Eagle Creek has a strategic relationship with Affiliated Advisors, providing institutional-quality resources while preserving our independence. Osaic provides the technology and operational support we use to serve clients, while Pershing LLC provides clearing, custody, and settlement services for investment accounts.

Will you work with my CPA and attorney?

Absolutely. The best financial decisions are rarely made in isolation. We regularly coordinate with CPAs, estate planning attorneys, and other trusted professionals to help ensure every part of your financial plan works together.
When additional expertise is needed, we recommend the professional best suited for your situation. We never accept referral fees or compensation from those relationships.

How are you compensated?

We believe fees should be transparent and easy to understand. Depending on your needs, we may work together through an ongoing investment advisory relationship or through a stand-alone financial planning engagement. We'll explain all fees before any work begins, so you'll always know exactly what to expect.

What happens during the first meeting?

The first meeting is simply a conversation. We'll learn about you, your goals, your concerns, and what prompted you to reach out. We'll discuss where you are today, where you'd like to go, and whether our planning approach is a good fit.
There is no pressure and no obligation.

Do you manage investments?

Yes, but investment management is only one part of what we do.
Our investment recommendations are built within a broader financial plan that considers taxes, retirement income, risk management, estate planning, and your long-term goals.

Where are you located?

Our office is located in Franklin, Tennessee. We serve clients locally and throughout the United States using secure virtual meetings when appropriate.
